The COLORBOX DI is a sturdy stereo passive direct box equipped with Quagliardi audio transformers, whose permalloy cores provide a smooth and warm sound reminiscent of the finest vintage equipment.
They feature ground lift and a 20dB input attenuator for each channel.
The ColorBox family expands with a fully discrete active direct box, powered by a ±16 V split supply for exceptional headroom and ultra-low distortion (<0.01% THD).
Built around the legendary 2520 op-amps, it ensures pristine transparency and transient response. It features a buffered unbalanced output and the new CREAM function, adding a smooth, musical coloration when desired.
The COLORBOX® Reamp is a mono reamplification box equipped with Quagliardi audio transformers. It features a low-cut filter (80Hz), polarity inverter, variable attenuator, and ground lift.
Additionally, both its input and output are duplicated, allowing one to chain multiple COLORBOX® units together to expand the number of channels available for reamplification.
